Day of the Dead |
|
The first official Day of the Dead celebration for Cleveland took place on Oct. 29th, 2005 in the newly renovated Josaphat Arts Hall. The community welcomed the event with hundreds attending the lecture by curator, Salvador Gonzalez. They viewed the 13 alters constructed by area artists and later joined the festivities outdoors including fantastic larger-than-life puppets, dancing, music and a parade.
